Larry Martin Hagman, the legendary Hollywood icon, has died at the age of 81. Best known for his unforgettable roles as J.R. Ewing in the iconic television series "Dallas" and Major Anthony Nelson in "I Dream of Jeannie," Hagman left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry.
Born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 21, 1931, Hagman was the son of famed actress Mary Martin and a district attorney. Following in his mother's footsteps, he pursued a career in the arts and made his television debut in 1957.
