LeBron James led the Lakers with 24 points and 8 rebounds, but he struggled from the field, shooting just 9-of-26. Anthony Davis also had a poor shooting night, going just 6-of-16 from the field. The Lakers' loss drops them to 39-43 on the season, while the Pelicans improve to 43-39. With just three games remaining in the regular season, the Lakers now need to win their remaining games and hope for a Pelicans loss in order to secure the seventh seed.
